Between making sure homework is done, baths are taken, dogs are walked and laundry is sorted, who can find time for a healthy, family sit-down dinner?
But the science-backed nutritional and mental benefits of eating (and even cooking!) together are well worth it. We asked IQS Community which of our recipes have become regulars on the family dinner roster. From pimped out pumpkin to loaded lamb nachos, these dishes are definitely fun for the whole family!
Gluten free toad in the hole
We’re not surprised this is a favourite – who doesn’t love a meal you can just chuck in the one pan and whack in the oven? Serve up with a big side of greens to cut through the richness.
Lamb nachos
These crowd-pleasing nachos are so quick and allow you to use up all your leftovers. You can add pretty much anything to the mix: spinach, grated carrot, beans, chillies… don’t be afraid to get creative.

Mince Pimped Pumpkin
We’ve stuffed our favourite squash with mince for a quick and nourishing midweek meal. Vegos can do a crushed nuts, greens and/or lentils version that’s equally as delicious.
Butter Chicken With Easy Naan Bread
This family favourite is exclusive to our I Quit Sugar: Healthy Family Meals eCookbook. It’s everything you expect from a good butter chicken; warming, creamy with a hint of sweetness (and the Easy Naan will change your life).

BONUS: Vegan Apple Crumble
This not so naughty dessert from the I Quit Sugar: Healthy Family Meals eCookbook is a favourite on Instagram. With warming spices, crunchy crumble and the natural sweetness of apple, you’re family will never know it’s healthy!
