71 sneaky names for sugar

We warn you all the time that sugar is hiding in all kinds of places under other alias names.

So, we went on a little expedition to one of the health shops in our area to find just how much sugar is hiding in so-called health foods. Among shelves of raw vegan cookies, granola bars and organic baby food, we found 71 (!!!) other names for fructose, from the mildly euphemistic to the plain ridiculous.

Note to health food companies – just because you put the word “organic” doesn’t make it healthy!
