WRONG! We love falafels, but often, they’re cooked in a deep-fryer filled with vegetable oil – eek! Whipping up a batch of falafels at home however, can be super simple and the bonus is, you’ll know exactly what’s in these little balls of goodness.
Our version contains all the usual suspects – chickpeas, cumin and garlic – but we’ve also added a healthy dose of turmeric, the golden spice famed for its inflammation-fighting properties. Plus, these are also baked in the oven making them a much healthier option to their deep-fried counterpart.
