The lowdown on sugar in wine…

Written By Unknown on Saturday, 7 October 2017 | 20:04

We all love a bevvy from time to time (yep, even us!).

In fact, while on the 8-Week Program a glass of wine with dinner is totally fine, as long as you’re drinking the right stuff.

The sugar in wine is naturally found in the grapes, but during the fermentation process, this sugar is turned into alcohol. Any leftover sugar is called residual sugar, and this is what you’ve got to look out for!

So, print this out, stick it on the fridge (or in the pantry), and remind yourself of what’s best to drink next time you’re reaching for a glass.

Wine’s not your thing? That’s okay – check out what we think about beer and cider too!
