The true cost of convenience

Written By Unknown on Monday 28 August 2017 | 21:33

There’s a big misconception that eating healthily is expensive.

When you look at the cost of eating a healthy diet versus buying food out all the time however, we totally disagree when people say that eating healthy has to be costly!

On the 7-Day Reboot, a whole day’s worth of food is just $16! Here are 7 other things you could buy for the same amount…

  • From McDonald’s you could pick up a Classic Angus regular combo and an Apple Pie – total cost, $15.50.
  • You could probably sip just one cocktail at a fancy Sydney bar for $16 (maybe).
  • Or, enjoy about half a main meal if you were going out for dinner.
  • At Domino’s you couldn’t even get a whole premium pizza.
  • You could spend that money on a takeaway coffee and a sandwich at our local cafe.
  • At Grill’d you’d get just one Wagyu Wunder burger. That’s it.
  • And, at Sumo Salad you could pick up a large deli salad and a drink.

But, for the price of any one of these, you could have a whole day’s worth of ingredients! We know which we’d choose.

Now, tell us again that eating healthy is expensive?
