We recently talked about how podcasts are a great way to let your mind get some rest and escapism from your crazy life.

Here are our top five fave podcasts that we think are the bee’s knees of bedtime listening.
If you love nature… and want some calming sounds to send you off, check out Sleep with Silk: Nature Sounds for tranquil birds, wind and ocean surf sounds to let you drift off peacefully.
For the anxious mind… tune into Sleep With Me. This podcast covers hundreds of different topics, so snuggle in and get set to snooze (it also happens to be Sarah’s brothers fave too!)
For a busy mind… after something a bit more complex, listen to Serial – a riveting murder mystery with twists, turns and in depth characters. You’ll quickly become entwined in their lives, without having to leave your bedroom.
If you’re a girly girl… check out The Thinker Girls for some sassy chat about everything you’ve ever thought about (but not wanted to say out loud). From engaging interviews, to what to do after your wax – they cover it all!
Or, if you podcasts aren’t really your thing… tune into Long Ambients1: Calm. Sleep. by Moby for some calming, electronic music with no vocals. The whole album lasts four hours – hopefully you’ll have nodded off by then!
