And, we’ve kept it super simple – as you’ll most likely experience a few pre-date nerves – and ensured that all of the dishes can be prepped and cooked ahead of time so you can spend more quality time with your date. Entree: Smoky Eggplant Dip with Olive + Rosemary Chickpea Flatbreads.

Anyone can go out and buy a premade dip from the shops and pair it with crackers, but making your own is far more special! This smoky eggplant has a seriously impressive flavour which pairs with these tasty flatbreads perfectly. Plus, both these dishes can be made earlier in the day and pulled out when your date arrives.

Main: Lemon + Cinnamon Lamb Shanks with Gremolata.
