The silly season is looming large (with just six weeks to go), but don’t panic! We’ve got heaps of handy tips that’ll have you feeling cool as a cucumber by the time Christmas arrives.

Around this time of the year we’re often sent into a panic by the length of our to-do lists and the thought of preparing and cooking a full meal for Christmas Day can be overwhelming. But, these handy hints will have you nailing the festive season like a boss.

1. The freezer is your friend.

We love to batch cook every week with our Sunday Cook-Up and Christmas is no different! Begin making a few dishes in the weeks leading up to Chrissy and simply pop them in your freezer until you need them. Our Pork + Fennel Sausage Rolls freeze perfectly and can be enjoyed at any festive party! Simply prepare the rolls ahead of time and freeze them uncooked. Then, pop them in the oven before serving!

2. Outsource.

While we often try to do a million things at once, it’s not physically possible. Instead of stressing out about your lack of time, ask your family members to pitch in. If each person brings one dish, it will take some serious weight off your shoulders. Our suggestion? Ask them to bring our Flourless Berry Chocolate Cake. It’s darn easy to make and it’s always a crowd-pleaser!
