Why 8 weeks? We explain…

Written By Unknown on Tuesday 5 September 2017 | 13:07

The 8-Week Program sounds great as a name, but did you know, there’s science behind it too?

You may have heard the saying “it takes 21 days to break a habit” but turns out, that’s old news! In fact, research shows that it takes just over 60 days to break a habit.

That’s why we chose 8 weeks!

The latest in addiction theory (and yes, fructose is addictive!), says it takes 66 days to form a new habit. But (most interestingly), it’s also thought that same theory can be applied to breaking a habit – if it takes just 66 days to make a new habit, like eating sugar-free, then in the process you can break previous old habits (like those sugary binges!).

Besides, eight weeks isn’t long to dedicate to something when you know it will set you up for a sugar-free life. Plus, evidence shows you can reap the rewards of your new healthy lifestyle in a week – think glowing skin, improved insulin resistance and no more brain fog.

So, what are you waiting for?
