- No Sugar Coke set to replace Coke Zero.
- Australia is one of the first five countries to have this new bevvy. Lucky us! *rolls eyes*
- This No Sugar version is the fourth low sugar or sugar-free alternative to be released by the company.
First, there was diet. Then, came zero. And eventually, a stevia sweetened bevvy hit the shelves.
But today, No Sugar Coca-Cola will be available Aussie wide.
It delivers a big promise – to taste the same as Coca-Cola Classic. So, what’s hiding in this sugar-free version?
Turns out, after five years of product development, Coke has gone with the same concoction of artificial sweeteners that’s in Coke Zero. The key difference is that Coca-Cola No Sugar contains no preservatives.
With chemicals that we can’t even pronounce, like aspartame (sweetener 951) and acesulfame potassium (sweetener 950 or ‘Ace K’), we think we’ll stick to water. Cheers!
