That’s right, Lyss whips up a smoothie 365 days a year! But she recently discovered a new ingredient that, in her words, ‘LEGIT’ changed my life…’
Zucchini!
By now you will have heard that we love packing veggies into everything. But zucchini in a smoothie? Even some of us hadn’t heard this one.
Here’s Lyss’ lowdown on the zucchini smoothie madness.
“Super, cheap and easy”
We LOVE zucchinis. A lot. They’re both cheap and versatile. What an easy way to pack more veggies into your diet.
“Great, creamy consistency”
While putting veggies into your smoothie may seem a little odd, Lyss says that it gives her smoothies a great, creamy consistency!
“It tastes like nothing”
Lyss swears it tastes like nothing. At all. Promise. Especially when paired with other go-to smoothie ingredients like blueberries or banana.
“Keep ‘em in the freezer”
For some stress-free zucchini prep, Lyss chops them into chunks and keeps them in the freezer. Use them as you would ice cubes.

Ingredients
½ zucchini, chopped
½ banana, chopped
1 tablespoon peanut butter
½ cup almond milk
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
Directions
1. Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk if it is a little thick.
