7 foods to eat for better gut health (we know you’ll LOVE the last one!)

Do you ever get cramps, bloating or irritable bowel symptoms for no apparent reason? Or maybe you get brain fog after eating something you shouldn’t have?

You might need to take better care of your gut. Our bowels are pretty darn important – they house up to 80 per cent of our immune system and even have a direct link to the brain (hence the post junk food fogginess!).

And the way to take care of our gut health is to nurture our microbiome (the trillions of good bacteria that live in there). Fermented foods in particular contain probiotics which help your microbiome flourish and fight nasties.

“The probiotics in fermented foods may help improve digestion and boost your immune system. Plus ferments like kombucha taste delicious and can easily be added to your diet,” says Sarah Condon, co-founder of Remedy Kombucha. We’re fans of Remedy because their kombucha is brewed for 30 days – getting in more good bacteria!

Feel like you need a gut health boost? Check out these seven gut-lovin’ foods (the last one might surprise you!).
