7 reasons to do the 8-Week Program (that have nothing to do with sugar)

Written By Unknown on Tuesday 22 August 2017 | 13:01

Of course, your body reaps the rewards of ditching the sweet stuff by boasting glowing skin, a boosted mood and improved sleep!

But, it might surprise you that our 8-Week Program comes with a LOAD of other perks that have nothing to do with sugar at all…

1. Learn new kitchen skills.

If you need an excuse to get back into the kitchen, this is it! Not only do you get step-by-step recipes, but you’ll learn new hacks like how to meal-prep effectively and utilise your freezer so you’ll avoid getting hangry!

2. Find food freedom.

Eating three satiating and fulfilling meals a day, means that you’ll be able to stop snacking, tune into your hunger and finally find your food freedom.

3. Minimise your waste.

Did you know, that each year we waste an amount of food equivalent to 9553 blue whales?! To be honest, we’re over it. That’s why we developed our 8-Week Program to be a zero-waste program. That means, you get a shopping list of exactly what you need (quantities and all) so you know you’re going to use every single thing you buy.

4. Shop for seasonal ingredients.

Speaking of shopping lists, our Program will teach you how to navigate the supermarket (you don’t really need those inside aisles), read food labels and shop for what’s in season – meaning, you’ll get more bang for your buck too.

5. Explore new ingredients.

Yep, quinoa and buckwheat will become regulars on your menu, as well as new flavour combos like cinnamon and rosemary (who knew?!).

6. Find a sense of community.

If you think you’ll need a bit of support to get you through – look no further. In our community forums, you can chat to others on the exact same Program as you to find out what they’re doing with their leftovers, or how they’re spruiking the meals to their partners!

7. Utilise kitchen equipment.

We’re big believers in not spending lots of money on kitchen equipment. But, that doesn’t mean same-same food all the time. You’ll learn how to utilise what you have in your kitchen to make the most delicious meals EVER – I mean, cakes in your slow cooker? Who can argue with that?
