You may have noticed we’re a tad obsessed with gelatin around there (heck, we’ve even just released a second book about gut-lovin’ desserts!).

But you might be asking… what’s all the fuss about? From clearer skin to a better mood, here are 5 reasons you may want to eat more gelatin.

1. If your gut needs some lovin’.

Gelatin is a wonder weapon for gut health. It can help heal tired linings by boosting acid production and restoring the mucosal lining of your intestines. Which allows the trillions of good bacteria living in there to keep doing their thang!

2. If your skin is looking older than you are.

From pimples to wrinkles, gelatin can help keep your skin clean, clear and under control.

It contains the essential amino acid proline, which is used by the body to repair connective tissues, produce collagen and improve the texture of skin. Cool!

3. If you have trouble sleeping.
