Our mate sugar-free Marie gave it a try. And with just a few small changes to her diet, she managed to cut out a huge amount of sugar in the past month…

28 days without:

  • Daily diluted cordial: 392 teaspoons
  • Nightly chocolate bar: 98 teaspoons
  • Low-fat yoghurt at breakfast: 151 teaspoons
  • 3 ready-made meals per week: 9 teaspoons

TOTAL: 650 teaspoons of sugar!

That’s 2.5 KG of sugar Marie didn’t eat in the month of February. Go Marie!

“Cutting out cordial was definitely the hardest part, normal water still tastes wei” says Marie. “But I really enjoyed cooking from scratch. It’s proved to me that eating healthy it not just counting calories.” Too right!
