But sometimes we all just need something sweet and refreshing. That’s why, as summer draws in, we’re choosing to treat ourselves with delicious dessert-like smoothies (with a little savoury twist).

This Salted Caramel Smoothie Bowl is perfect for anyone wanting a sweet brekkie (without having a sugar rush before 9am). We’ve sweetened it with healthy ingredients like frozen banana, cashew butter, cinnamon, maca and banana. And of course, there’s a pop of sea salt in there too!

Topped with crunchy chia seeds, buckwheat and pepitas, it’s a great recipe for a fancy weekend brunch. And if you really want to treat yourself, drizzle with just a little rice malt syrup for a butterscotch sundae-inspired flavour. Yummo!
