Have you ever looked at your leftover veggie stems and thought, “Well, what do I do with them now?”
We don’t want to brag, but we’ve come up with the best solution ever… pickle them!
It’s no secret that we hate food waste, so in order to prevent those stems ending up in the bin, we’ve simply added some spices and a little pickling liquid to create a delicious (not to mention vibrant) pickle.
We’ve made the most of our kale, silverbeet, chard and fennel, but whatever you have lying around will work a treat. Trust us, this is a tasty addition to salads or stir some through your mayo for the easiest tartare sauce ever.
